Initiative Committee
The initiative committee for the federal initiative “For a Fair and Sustainable Public Transport Policy” (aka for free public transport) is composed of engaged citizens and prominent figures from the non-profit, cultural, economic, scientific, and political sectors, representing a wide range of backgrounds. The initiative committee delegates its decision-making power to the “Citizens’ Committee” (hyperlink to the Citizens’ Committee section) regarding the campaign’s main directions. This ensures that the initiative truly serves the individuals and organizations mobilizing for this change, rather than being a tool controlled by a lobby buying democracy or a few professional politicians.
Through this action, the initiative committee transforms this process into a genuine commons: it steps aside to place the initiative in the hands of the community, committing to respect the governance of this Citizens’ Committee as the sovereign expression of those who bring the project to life.

Coalition and partner organizations
Initiated by Agissons!, this project is becoming a shared resource that we are building together. We are gradually building a cross-party, union, and community coalition for genuine mobility justice.
Inspired by international successes, we are joining forces to make public transport an accessible, affordable, and high-quality common good. This momentum is constantly growing: we invite every group, section, or organization to discover the project and join us. Together, let’s build this collective force to win.
The first organizations supporting the initiative will be revealed at the national press conference in late August or early September 2026.
